About Kinari CIC
Kinari Education CIC was founded by experienced NHS nurses and educators who recognised the need for tailored, compassionate support for nurses, carers and health professionals, particularly those who have come from overseas to support the UK Health & Social Care system.
Our team includes nurses, tech experts, educators, and creatives — many with lived experience of moving countries and working in different healthcare contexts. We work collaboratively with diaspora groups, educational institutions, influencers and care providers to deliver high-quality, culturally sensitive training and advocacy.
We are proud to be official partners of ZIMNA-UK - the Zimbabwean Nursing & Midwifery Association, UK.
Kinari means “edge” or “transformation" in several languages, symbolising our commitment to those on the margins, and our passion to shift towards inclusion and empowerment, through education and support. We also use the word 'Kin' to mean the sense of community we are building together. In the Kinari Community, no-one will be left behind, we all support one another.
